The objective of the project is to establish a world class hotel training school that will serve the management training requirements of the hotel industry in Iran and its neighboring countries in the region. To ensure that the training programs of the school are world class, the strategy is to attach the school to a recognized international hotel management institution from Europe or the Asia Pacific Region and construct a facility that includes a 3-4 star working hotel laboratory. The project should be cost neutral to the government over the long term to 2015.
Once fully operational, the school will offer a 4 year degree in hotel management, a 3 associate degree culinary arts, a 2 year diploma in hotel administration, 1 year certificate courses in travel operations, food and beverage service, cookery, housekeeping, front office, and hotel maintenance, and short 3 month courses in travel operations, food and beverage service, cookery, housekeeping, front office, and hotel maintenance. Once well established, the school could also offer a Masters program in hotel management.
